The Lost Time Lord?
The Time Lords may be dead but the Doctor will discover he’s not so alone if current rumours are to believed.
No, it’s not the Master again. The Doctor will find out he has a long-lost relative according to an article in The Star. The unknown relative will be played by actress Joanna Page of Gavin And Stacey fame. She will appear in two future episodes of Doctor Who according to the report.
An ‘insider’ apparently said: “Joanna could be massive for the show. She’s been offered two episodes and if that goes well the sky’s the limit. She’ll start off as a long-lost relative of the Doctor but may then become a major player.”
The Star’s source added: “We would love her to have a long-term future in Doctor Who.”
So if this is true (hmm), who could she be playing? And what about Jenny? She’s out there, somewhere is space.
Update: Joanna Page has responded to the rumours and denied any involvement. Page said “It’s not true, A friend was telling me about that. I was like, ‘I wish it was true'”.
But Page added she would love to appear, “I think I’ve got to be the only Welsh actress who has never been in Doctor Who so if someone would like me to be in Doctor Who I would love the part.”
