Vote Doctor Who in SFX Awards 2012
From the site, “It’s your chance to cast your votes in the annual SFX Awards! And by voting you could win tickets to 2012’s SFX Weekender, where we’ll be revealing the winners live onstage. All you have to do is vote then leave us your details..”
This year SFX are allowing you to vote for anything (released, published or broadcast between 15 December 2010 and 19 October 2011), but the suggested nominations are:
- Best TV show – Doctor Who, Torchwood
- Best sci-fi actor – Matt Smith
- Best sci-fi actress – Karen Gillan, Alex Kingston, Suranne Jones, Eve Myles
- Best collectable, model, toy or boardgame – TARDIS mini set, 5th Doctor and Tegan outfits
- Sexiest male – John Barrowman
- Sexiest female – Suranne Jones, Eve Myles
- Best special effect – The opening sequence from A Good Man Goes To War
- Best monster or villain – Madame Kovarian, The Silence
- Biggest disappointment or missed opportunity – the UK Torchwood censorship
