How will Clara Cope with Capaldi’s Doctor?

A ‘source’ apparently told the Mirror: “As a new Time Lord you need all the friends you can get, but he even has to win over his companion. Clara grew very attached to Matt and that shows in the opening episodes.
“Peter’s Doctor has to get past a spiky opening and try to make Clara a sidekick who will help him save the world from the usual mix of aliens and monsters from the galaxy.”
It doesn’t sound unreasonable and fits in with earlier quotes from Moffat. Last year he said: “Just as Clara’s learning to have a proper old crush on him, suddenly he’s Malcolm Tucker!
“People really love Jenna, so we make the Doctor quite difficult… I think the fun story will be – and we have the opportunity here – is this is what regeneration can do to you. He can be very, very different.”
