A Returning Character Spoiled?

Earlier today at a convention Q&A, Ian McNeice apparently let slip that he’d be reprising his role as Winston Churchill.

A (now deleted) tweet from the venue holder stated:

“Ooooo spoilers…. Winston Churchill to return to Doctor Who.”

Given that Christmas filming is just around the corner, it seems likely this will be for Matt Smith’s swansong, if true.

UPDATE: McNeice has denied the rumour on his Twitter: “There is absolutely a false rumour there is no truth that I am returning to Doctor Who.”
