The Snowmen TV Trailer Breakdown
This is a breakdown of the latest TV trailer for The Snowmen. As some of the clips were already in the first trailer and we have already analysed that in greater detail, we’re just looking at what’s new.
The opening scene shows Clara making the very long ascent to the TARDIS.
We hear Gandalf, aka Ian Mckellen, aka the voice of the Snowmen narrating: “Tomorrow the snow shall fall and so shall mankind”
Beware the Snowflakes! They have teeth. We know from early reviews that this is the opening shot of the episode.
It looks like this scene takes place shortly after the The Great Detective.
Doctor Simeon (Richard E Grant): “Such a winter as this world has never known is coming”
Frost breath…
…First seen in the previously released clip. This appears to be the Snowmen’s main method of attack.
The strange electric device from the first trailer. In the glass you can see what looks like snow swirling around.
It looks like this scene takes place after Simeon has taken a shock. He can be seen near the table lying flat on his face.
Latimer (Tom Ward) says to Jenny: “What do we do?”
In the background Strax is tending to the wounded.
Doctor: “Clara who”
Clara: “Doctor who?”
Doctor: “Ooh, a dangerous question”
Clara: “What’s wrong with dangerous?”
Well that’s another obligatory scene we can cross off the list.
