Composer Murray Gold Confirms Exit

It has been rumoured for a while, and now it’s official: Murray Gold has confirmed that he will no longer compose the music for Doctor Who.

Gold himself made the news public at the Gallifrey One LA convention over the weekend.

Gold has been with Doctor Who since the show returned in 2005, and worked on many fan favourite tunes since.

His replacement is currently unknown, although Blair Mowat (who has composed for Big Finish audios and spin-off Class) has been rumoured.
