Doctor Who’s Pre-Disney Era Materialises on AMC+ in Exclusive New Streaming Deal

AMC+ announced today that it will be the new, exclusive streaming home to 13 seasons and 175 episodes (including specials) of Doctor Who (2005 – 2022) in the US, beginning Thursday June 11. The longest-running British science fiction television series, which premiered 20 years ago this year in the US, follows the stories of a regenerating Time Lord who travels on adventures through all of time and space.

Over these 13 seasons, which first aired in the UK between 2005 and 2022, the series has seen several acclaimed actors lead the series in the role of the Doctor, including Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi and Jodie Whittaker. Doctor Who has also had an enormous impact on pop culture, bringing together a passionate fanbase while garnering many accolades, including multiple BAFTA Awards and an esteemed Peabody Award.
Doctor Who (2005-2022) was produced by BBC Studios for BBC iPlayer and BBC One with BBC America as co-producer. BBC Studios is the international distributor for Doctor Who. All available episodes of Doctor Who are also available to stream on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
