Series 7 Opener is “Asylum of the Daleks”
The news was revealed by the BFI who will be screening the episode on 14th August, with tickets to go on sale 10th July.
This means Doctor Who is almost certainly going to return to TV late August, as all the signs pointed to back when the Guardian announced another screening at the 2012 Edinburgh International Television Festival.
Evidence strongly suggests that Saturday 25th August will be the date BBC1 premieres, which is a bank holiday weekend.
So it looks like we’re only two months away from Doctor Who being back on our screens!
