Most Viewed Xmas Special (2005-2016)
The Return of Doctor Mysterio is the 11th most viewed Doctor Who Christmas special, according to the consolidated viewing figure from BARB.
2016’s festive special increased from its initial overnight estimate of 5.68 million to 7.83 million.
The most viewed special is still 2007’s Voyage of the Damned with a whopping 13.31 million viewers. The lowest is The Husbands of River Song with 7.69 million.
