Doctor Who & Jodie Whittaker Make NTA 2019 Shortlist
The shortlist nominations have opened for this year’s National Television Awards and Doctor Who is represented in two categories.
The National Television Awards are voted for by the public. Doctor Who has failed to make the cut in the last few years, but it appears the beginning of the Whittaker era did enough to earn it a spot.
Doctor Who has been nominated for Best Drama. It faces competition from Our Girl, Peaky Blinders, Call the Midwife and Casualty.
Jodie Whittaker meanwhile is up for Drama Performance. She contests with Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Michelle Keegan (Our Girl), Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Richard Madden (Bodyguard).
