Doctor Who Christmas Musical?
Our favourite rumourmongers at The Star are today reporting that Doctor Who is about to get a little musical.
According to their article, confirmed guest star Katherine Jenkins will burst into song in the Christmas special, performing a love track written by Murray Gold.
A source apparently said: “It’s going to be an amazing surprise. We have never had anyone burst into song on Doctor Who. It’s a TV first for us. This will send ratings sky high.”
Given that Jenkins is a singer, this really doesn’t seem that far fetched as some rumours go. Then again they may just be spinning the story based on that fact.
The article also adds Michael Gambon will play “a futuristic Scrooge who needs to be shown the error of his ways” and features “a giant flying shark” as a monster.
