I had kind of hoped they would have rested the Dalek's for a while as I feel they have been totally overused recently.  Since it looks like we are seeing the return of the Master maybe they form an alliance like we saw in the classic series.

Not too sure about that CGI :O

Once the Dalek's realise that the Timelords are contactable and the Doctor is the only Key to their return it makes sense that the Dalek's would throw every single resource at their disposal to hunt down the Doctor and Destroy him. Maybe part of the Darker Storyline we have been promised is that the Doctor is Prey with a bounty on his head.

To me, it doesn't really sound that human-y apart from 'doctor'. Maybe there is the DTC and Davros together. Or maybe Davros goes from being half-dalek, half-man to something more daleky. A more complete dalek form.  I dunno, it just doesn't sound all davros like to me apart from the word 'doctor'.

People say the "Silence will fall" voice was just a placeholder voice used before the silence's (silents?) voice's had been finalised but before the voice goes all dalek-y  it does sound sorta like that voice

I think I hear three voices not 2 like most others. I hear Davros at the very start. Then something more like the Emperor or something BIG like that and then a Dalek at the end. All three voices morph into each other so it's not hugely distinct but there is also the use of the word "I".

"I see into your soul Doctor" That's not your run of the mill Dalek. Even the Emperor has used "we" a lot in the past. *I* Is something else.

The Dalek tone of voice only appears near the end which would make me think davros, his dialoge also may have a link with the dalek story rumors article. Think experiments!

I like how the doctor answers the phone when everything else is exploing

Maybe off base; however, did not 11 once say that the TARDIS has a gps with the voice of Davros?

Davros, be my pal and tell me... Am I a good man?

Davros did sound in the Classic Series like a Dalek when he was close to one of his evil orgasms. (e.g. the scene about the virus in Genesis of the Daleks.) Maybe that's what happens at the end of this sentence, too?

Maybe we should address the real thing here: the Doctor has patched the telephone unit back inside.

Episode 2 is supposedly "behind enemy lines" and also thought to be a dalek episode, right? What if it isn't the Doctor and Clara behind enemy lines but Davros and that is why he is in the TARDIS. Not really too sure I believe this theory myself but want to put it out there.

While the voice will almost certainly be a hint for the series, I think people need to avoid reading too much into the visuals. Yes we see the Doctor apparently getting exterminated, or scanned or something, and yes the TARDIS is exploding a bit, but that doesn't mean it's actually going to happen. It's a teaser, not a trailer, and not the best source to be basing theories on just yet...

When I first heard this, I thought, "My God, the TARDIS is evil!!!!"

Maybe Davros is the Dalek Eternal, and the upper casing will flip back as a nod to Remembrance

The remake of The Master Dalek Plan!

Please don't blow this Tardis up! I was getting so used to it as well...

When I first saw the title I thought this was the quote of The Master, but now I am hoping for the return of Davros, if not this will be a massive disappointment!

I think everyone is taking the exploding TARDIS too literally. Yeah it might happen...but for example, we never saw Nine running down a corridor with a huge fireball chasing him? Or Eleven and Amy falling through the time vortex surrounded by monsters?

@Hallam Who In Remembrance of the Daleks he was already becoming less humanoid. We haven't seen him since then (The Stolen Earth was before Remembrance from Davros' point of view).

@AlexWong1 He wanted to patch the phone back into the console unit. Looks like it went wrong if its blowing everything up :P

Well remembered! Was from Trouble in Paradise audio - said by Sixth Doctor (but *spoiler*). Thanks Tardis Wiki!

@declanmclean  To paraphrase an old movie...  Kate:  "Doctor, we've traced the call it's coming from inside the TARDIS! Get out of the TARDIS, get out of the TARDIS!"

@MrRazza, the Trainee Omega Identifier My rule one: don't anticipate/assume/expect too much, you'll only set yourself up for disappointment when what you expect doesn't come to pass. :D I'm excited for the new series, just as I was the past ones, but I've managed to avoid over-excitement and getting hyped up lol. I love seeing spoilers and teasers and filming titbits... I do enjoy seeing how they film stuff - it's fun to see the making of the series. But I have been just fine with observing without trying to guess what everything means or where such and such thing comes into play and why, how... and who is coming back or who will play what part... etc... etc... It's all just a jumble of fun facts in my head, and I like it that way, lol. :D

This is the same for DVD. Great menu screen.

@Type40Charlie haha that's a good theory, imagine if it was the TARDIS. Moffat and the production team could just be trolling us

@CyberSmith I have noticed in loads of doctor who trailer's stuff blows up but it is never really in the story for much.

Surely this Tardis will be like this till the Doctors death, as it's as his tomb is on Trenzalore, or didn't he die on Trenzalore now, which means there's no tomb anymore? Or is that just another confusing plot hole as we've become accustomed to during Moffats era!

Blake Jamieson

@doctorwhomultiverse TBH I really hope not, it will seem cramped. I probably expected the Master or the Daleks/Davros in the finale because we're expecting Gallifrey but the Cybermen aren't that fussed about the Time Lords are they?

SonicTheHedgehogRules
SonicTheHedgehogRules

What?!? No it wasn't! The Stolen Earth was CLEARLY after Remembrance, it's even said in the episode that Davros died in the first year of the Time War!

"Did you have an accident while time traveling and it wasn't your fault?"

@SonicTheHedgehogRules Davros was taken out of the Time War. Remembrance was part of the Time War. In The Stolen Earth, he didn't look that much different from in Revelation except that he had the metal hand. In Remembrance he looked completely different.

@The Finn @TonySimmons Being that we're somehow still discussing this 6 months later, allow me to elaborate a bit.

Clara's plea into the crack consisted of one request of the Time Lords:  "Help him change the future."

The request was then granted with a new regeneration cycle, which then allowed the Doctor to escape his death.

That's it.  No need to plug a non-existent plot hole. No need to come up with 100 different convoluted fan theories of what's going *really* going to happen on Trenzalore one day.

TonySimmons

Thanks for explaining that, guess that explains away quite a few plot holes
