Poll Results: Who YOU Want Tennant to Play in the 60th
Earlier in the month, we asked you to vote on who you wanted David Tennant to play in the 60th anniversary, and now we can present the results…
The winner: The Tenth Doctor
With 46.5% of the overall vote. This was a close-run poll, but in the end, the majority of those who voted would prefer Tennant to reprise his role as the Tenth Doctor.
Runner up: The 14th Doctor
With 37.7% of the overall vote. Rumours suggest Tennant will actually take over from Jodie Whittaker to become the 14th Doctor. With this being a close runner-up, we can see that fans aren’t opposed to the idea.
Meta-crisis Doctor
The final poll option allowed users to vote on the Meta-crisis Doctor (for those that don’t recall, this was the Doctor that ended up with Rose Tyler in Journey’s End). This made up 11.6% of the vote.
Other
We also allowed voters to enter their own choices. Just 4.6% picked this option. The most popular choice in this category was easily the Valeyard. Runner-ups included the Master and an alternate universe Doctor.
