BBC America have released a trailer for the eighth installment of Doctor Who Revisited.

The 25-minute special celebrates Paul McGann’s Doctor with Doctor Who: The TV Movie following in its entirety. It airs Saturday August 31 at 8/7c on BBC America.

Take an in-depth look at the eighth incarnation of the truly timeless Time Lord, which was the first time the Doctor had returned to TV since the end of the original series in 1989. With exclusive interviews with lead writer and executive producer STEVEN MOFFAT, Eighth Doctor companions Daphne Ashbrook (Dr. Grace Holloway) and Yee Jee Tso (Chang Lee) and more, examining what made the Eighth Doctor unique and discuss a new take on the Doctor’s old enemy the Master.

Then, in Doctor Who: The TV Movie, the Doctor is on his way home to Gallifrey with the remains of his arch-nemesis, the Master. Forced off course, the TARDIS arrives in San Francisco on New Year’s Eve 1999, where the Doctor faces a race against time to prevent the destruction of the Earth.
