Unsurprisingly the episode was incredibly well received and is easily the highest rated episode of the past two years. A title previously held by The Name of the Doctor.

We also have the results of last week’s poll containing your rating on the 50th anniversary docudrama, An Adventure in Space and Time.
As you can see this special was even better received than The Day of the Doctor with 91% giving top marks. This was the highest rated poll on Doctor Who TV since 2009!
