Torchwood’s Returning Characters

Two long-time characters will be joining Captain Jack (John Barrowman) and Gwen (Eve Myles) in Torchwood: The New World.

First up is Gwen’s faithful husband, Rhys. Actor Kai Owen yesterday tweeted: “In about one month from today I’m going to be putting on my ‘Rhys’ costume once more!”

Gwen’s former partner, PC Andy Davidson (Tom Price), will also be back.

Price revealed on twitter: “Doing a little bit of Torching Wood in America next year. Already trying out my Welsh/LA accent. It’s SO hot, like.”

Then he later joked: “The PC Andy spinoff is still in the pipeline. It’s a very long pipeline.”

Torchwood: The New World begins filming January 2011 in Cardiff before heading to the States.
