Should there be a Paul McGann spin-off?

Paul McGann made his long overdue return to Doctor Who this week and naturally there have been calls for further adventures in a potential spin-off (petitions have already started).

McGann himself has said he’d be interested in reprising the role once again: “As long as the writing is good I’d be up for it.”

With the mini-episode already over 2 million views at the time of writing, the BBC can’t have failed to take notice at such huge numbers. So the question is, how do Doctor Who TV readers feel about a spin-off?
