Peter Kay Regrets Love & Monsters

Peter Kay has said that starring as an alien in Doctor Who is his biggest career regret.

Kay, of course, played the Abzorbaloff in the divisive episode Love & Monsters from the second series back in 2006.

The comedian explained to the Express (via Den of Geek): “I loved making it but when I saw it, I thought, ‘Oh my God. I’m big green lizard running around Cardiff? Is that it?’

“It’s nice to have been in Doctor Who but that is regarded by fans as the worst episode ever.

However, he joked: “In 10 years’ time, I’ll be able to do the Doctor Who conventions and charge people a tenner for a photo!”
