Obituaries: Gray, Briers

Doctor Who TV would like to pay respects to two former Doctor Who actors who have recently passed.

Elspet Gray (12 April 1929 – 18 February 2013)

Actress Elspet Gray died on Monday aged 83.

Gray played Thalia, Lord Chancellor in the High Council of Time Lords, in Fifth Doctor story Arc of Infinity.

Richard Briers (14 January 1934 – 17 February 2013)

Sunday saw the passing of Richard Briers, who died aged 79.

Briers played the Chief Caretaker in Seventh Doctor story Paradise Towers. He also later appeared as Henry Parker in Series 2 Torchwood story A Day in the Death.
