Meet the Smiler
The creepy-faced monster first seen in the series 5 teaser trailer (pictured right) has a name.
This lovely thing is a Smiler. Yep, we think that’s meant to be ironic!
The Smiler is believed to feature in the second episode of the fifth series in a story called The Beast Below.
No other details about the ‘monster’ are currently known but we think it’s certainly the scariest looking Doctor Who monster since the Weeping Angels.
