Gaiman wants ‘The Eleven Doctors’
Neil Gaiman, writer of The Doctor’s Wife, has spoken about his dream story for Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary.
“The real dream story is the one you cannot do because technology is not there and people have died – It would be The Eleven Doctors,” he explained.
“They made The Three Doctors. They made The Five Doctors. It’s the 50th Anniversary, you’d make The Eleven Doctors and you’d have William Hartnell in it.
“The trouble is do you have actors playing these people? Do you have someone doing a Tom Baker? How do you do that?”
He added: “I trust in Moffat enough to think that whatever he’s going to give us, it will be worth it.”
