Amy in Series 6?
Many fans are wondering if Amy will be sticking around longer than one series as the Doctor seems to be losing his companions quickly these days. But when asked about her future beyond the fifth series, Gillan was unsure, “I don’t know – no decisions have been made so we’ll wait and see.”
Gillan also revealed some details about Amy’s boyfriend, “You may get to meet Amy’s boyfriend Rory (Arthur Darvill) in episode one, which is quite exciting. He’s a nurse…”
And what of Amy’s police uniform shown in filming pics last year? “Well Amy has to do lots of things to ensure her and the Doctor are successful in their missions so perhaps that was one of the things she needed to do.” Gillan explained.
