Doctor Who TV would like to congratulate Bernard Cribbins for receiving a prestigious OBE (Order of the British Empire).

Cribbins was awarded the medal for his services to drama. Of course, Whovians know him best as the lovable Wilfred Mott. He also played companion Tom Campbell in 1966 Doctor Who film Daleks Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.

Cribbins said: “If you know of any work that’s going I’ll take it. I love it, I can’t stop, why should I? I’m still able to read and write.”

Perhaps Wilf can return for the 50th Anniversary?
