Series 1-7 is missing time of angels/flesh and stone

Colin Baker proving yet again what a great actor he is and how he was just let down by the awful writing back in the 80's.

I'd love to hear Peter Davison read David Tennant's 'Don't blink' monologue from Blink. That would be cool.

That 'Rain' trailer still completely blows my mind. I've never seen a better fan trailer for anything!

Hey, thanks for featuring my faux-Target cover, cheers! :D

What I like to hear next is Classic Who speeches done by New Who and Classic Who Doctors. For example the Fifth Doctor doing the First Doctor's speech in The Dalek Invasion of Earth or the Eleventh Doctor doing the speech from The Ultimate Foe.

The way Collin Baker hits 'The long way 'round.' makes the long way the point of the speech. Before the Time War, he was always going to return The TARDIS. Then The Time War prevented it. Baker's reading was more true to the character's overall arc. I love Colin's interpretation.

Who's the Doctor talking to in that speech anyway? It always struck me as a bit odd that for the first time ever, The Doctor would be telling someone about a companion, and their conversations, but who? Just struck me as off. Not that the speech was bad. Except for it doesn't seem like Clara to ask a question more than once, and he really hasn't known her for that long it seems. And why would she be obsessed enough to ask about him dreaming more than once? Or what made her forget about the answer? That whole speech was a bit weird.

As good as Matt was at speeches, so far I've found most of his speeches to have sounded even better when spoken by the Doctors of the past. The gravitas and gravel of an older man's voice makes them sound even more authoritative and dramatic, especially when McCoy hams up the Pandorica-speech to truly epic proportions.

I really like the retro-style cover for Parting of the Ways. It also makes me think of the potential in releasing novelizations of previous episodes, complete with scenes cut from the actual episode. I would be even more interested in reading novelizations of drafts that were never used, particularly Moffat's rough version of Series 5 featuring the Tenth Doctor.

I always love the "facts you didn't know about" videos. I always seem to take it as a challenge...

I like that first one, but series 7 is short a few episodes. Namely "Aslyum" and "Journey".

An excellent Weird and Wonderful, as usual DWTV!

What's the musical piece used in the VFX breakdown for the Rain trailer? It sounds absolutely beautiful, I'd love to know what it is.

Collin Baker is awesome. He keeps this up and Matt is going to be out of a job. Oh...

Is it just me or did the first piece of art leave out Asylum of the Daleks?

Who-ology seems interesting, I think I'll buy it. However it would have been great if it span to The Time of The Doctor.

Not strictly relevant but I was just thinking that it must be just as dangerous for a weeping angel to look into our eyes as it is for us to look into theirs sice they would be able to see their own reflection in our eyes

Most regular stories is Tom Baker, least regular stories is John Hurt with... well, zero surely? Yet we still include him because...

That rain trailer, it's still so incredibly magical.

@Deus_Ex_Machina It's Journey, Bells, Day and Time which aren't represented for Series 7. Closing Time isn't represented for Series 6 either, nor The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone and Amy's Choice for Series 5, and Planet of the Ood and Midnight for Series 4.

Mercy Reborn2

@RhonDOH I agree maybe the cat comes from an alternate universe where the doctor is a cat that would be very funny

@The Grey Ghost @JFrance

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea's asleep, and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea's getting cold. Come on, Clara. We've got work to do.

@Liana21  They directly say "regular" stories. David wouldn't be counted for Day. John isn't a regular Doctor. I'm surprised the daft "must mention the War Doctor at all times" fad has been indulged by such a well-reputed researcher.

Congratulations my good man. You've just won Doctor Who fandom.
