TARDIS Cameo at London 2012 Olympic Opening

Time has been rewritten! Although David Tennant’s Doctor didn’t make the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, Doctor Who wasn’t entirely absent from the proceedings.

The TARDIS made a very brief “appearance” at the show during the performance of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody (Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill will be pleased with that choice).

Given the show’s long British heritage, it’s a bit of shame Doctor Who wasn’t featured in a bigger way like with James Bond, but at least there was something.
