Matt Smith has dropped a couple of intriguing hints on Series 7.

Speaking at a convention last weekend, he revealed there is a scene in The Eleventh Hour that fans should keep an eye out for because it will have a pay off during Amy’s exit.

“There’s something coming up in the final days of the Ponds that was in The Eleventh Hour,”  he said. “There’s a shot in that. [Moffat’s] been thinking about it that long. He always knew how she was going to… I’m saying too much already.”

See a video extract below, where Matt also talks about River:

Matt also spoke about the 2012 Christmas special:

“[Moffat’s] just delivered the Christmas special. I don’t know what he does in his mind…Just how does he come up with it? There’s a bit in the middle that’s just poetic. It’s so wonderful.”

On Sherlock appearing in Doctor Who:

“I think it would be really interesting. I think [the Doctor] would just find Sherlock Holmes to be a bit silly, and I think Sherlock would find the Doctor to be really silly, so it could be very funny. But I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.”

On acting:

Finally, Matt seemed to give a knowing look to the audience when asked about the Ice Warriors.
