That dialogue legitimately made me shiver.
Ohh the dialogue sounds interesting
Why did the pictures stop there? I wanted to see what the monster did to the guy in the checkered red shirt! ;)
Looks like they glued Slitheen arms to the Minotaur and repainted it a bit.
Can someone help me understand this?
Episode 4: the episode by Moffat about talking to yourself. This is the episode with the Minotaur-like monsters. Clara is in a suit for this episode (I don't like it).
Episode 5: the episode about the strange, puzzling planet with the evil banker. This episode involves Danny aging and people in colorful clothes. Clara is also in a suit for this episode.
Is all of this correct? What's up with Clara wearing a suit for both episodes? Could that mean they're a two-parter written by different people, or will that be Clara's new costume (I'm praying it's not)?
In the tenth picture on the slideshow, what is Capaldi doing?
Firstly, the monster looks to me like a cross between the Minotaur and the Slitheen, and also it's nice to see that Danny's travels begin quite early on in the series. And that dialogue is brilliant. It's pure Moffat.
Remember the Character Options 'new monsters'? There was a cow...
Clara looks very Sarah Jane here, suit feels reminiscent of the Time Warrior
Oh look! Looks like it has long creepy nails like the monster in the movie "the village"
Looks like a cross between the Minotaur and a Slitheen.
Wow. This suit might become my favourite
Clara’s outfit, she looks so lovely in it! (But then, she looks lovely in
I'm not really bothered by this new
monster, to be honest. It looks a bit cheesy and the photos are all blurred
anyway. I'm much more curious about what’s happened to Danny and why is he wearing
a certain orange spacesuit...
That creature doesn't look much like a Nimon. It has more of a lizard-fish feel to it.
What a cute little tail
It looks like something out of Men in Black, which is never a bad thing.
Remember when they released the new action figures and there was an outline of a new monster? This seems to fit the profile. Looks fantastic though! Very 70's type design, a definate improvement on the god complex Minotaur, hopefully it won't be wasted like most new monsters recently!
Capaldi's face in picture 8 is simply brilliant. He really can pull some faces.
From how I see it, it looks like the horns are actualy anntenne like a snail, with eyes on the end
Shame it can't be the Nimon-the Minotaur in S6 was going to be a Nimon, but there was a complication....
Hope it's not another monster wasted like the Vigil!
Oh hi Nimon.
Why is the side from the TARDIS green?
You know, seeing this picture of Capaldi and Coleman I must prefer the age difference / vibe / dynamic of there being an older Doctor with a younger companion. It just seems right. While I loved Matt (and he played "old" or rather "ancient" well, especially through the eyes) I was never a fan of the companions being visually the same age as the Doctor. But this... this feels right and I'm really looking forward to series 8.
I am pretty sure your looking at the filming for the wrong TV show , thats one of the Omnitrix monsters from Ben 10.
If the top two pictures, the one with Horns and the one with Jenna and Capaldi, are from the same shoot, and therefore the same episode, then I have to point out that Clara is wearing the same thing in both that and the shot with the cyborg. And Capaldi's shirt is the same. If these are really episodes 4 and 5, maybe it's a two-parter? Or at least supposed to be the same day? Clara usually changes her clothes between episodes, if I remember correctly.
Of course, this isn't a Nimon, and it would be ridiculous to think that.
But the Nimon breathe ridiculousness.
Wow, its funny seeing Capaldi being called 'The Doctor'. I really miss Matt, not that I don't think Capaldi will not be good its just, Matt was absolutely FUNTASTIC! I just wish he had at least another year or so.
What the...what the Mordor is that thing?
Capaldi really does pull some faces!
It's the Rani!
Very interesting, I hope it's not that rubbish minataur from that terrible episode in season 6. Could be interesting .
@Meh Meh Meh Meh Meh It could be a two-parter, whilst it'd be the first two-parter with two authors, that kind of thing has been done before in the Waters Of Mars which was co-written by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford so it's entirely possible. It could also be that Ep.5 is set immediately after Ep.4, just with an entirely different plot. :)
@Meh Meh Meh Meh Meh Looks like Episode 4 is about Danny wearing the orange spacesuit, the Doctor wearing a black sweater and Clara wearing a classy dress, while Episode 5 is about this weird creature, that cyborg chap, the evil banker, the Doctor wearing this blue shirt and Clara wearing this suit (seriously, what do you have against it?).
@BadWolf2 Flared trousers as well, is this episode set in the 1970s!
@MaraBackman Unless you dislike MIB.
@Earthborn That's what it looks like to me as well.
@ClassicWhovian How was Vigil a waste?
@Creepy_Ghoul From looking at other pictures on the internet, there was a large green screen on that side, I believe. :)
@Creepy_Ghoul It's just the lighting.
I think a Doctor Who/Ben 10 crossover is a legit idea
@Oodkind Yes, I'm very confused about episodes 4 and 5. This could hint at a two-parter written by two people, which could be very interesting.
@DoctorPotterHolmes007 Right from the first time I saw him I thought "Is this Cat from red dwarf"I think it will be great to have someone with a bit more depth who can display a whole range of emotions convincingly. Gravitas I think is the word I'm looking for here :)
@ShaynePC No, no. It's the Kandyman, look closely
Don't be dumb. It's obviously Omega.
That episode was great, like all Series 6!
@DaireConstantineOReilly If you mean Series 6 then I agree, The last 7 episodes in that series were terrible especially that episode :(
@DaireConstantineOReilly are you joking!? THE GOD COMPLEX WAS AMAZING
@DaireConstantineOReilly That "terrible episode in season 6" is quite likely going to finish near the top of the Best of Matt Smith polls.
@ilyootha @Meh Meh Meh Meh MehThe suit is amazing.
@The Finn @MaraBackmanIf the dislike doesn't apply to the design of the aliens in MIB, then there is still no problem.
@DavidBlyth @ClassicWhovian A well designed monster that was quickly discarded and poorly utilized, in my opinion.
If they don't tell and show everything about something in the first episode, it is considered wasted by many.
@Tardis Stowaway @Creepy_Ghoul Which suggests this is on an alien planet!
Your kidding? Its obviously Davros
@Polyphase @DaireConstantineOReilly Wrong, those episodes were brilliant, but Doctor Who fans always say every episode is rubbish so it's best to ignore them when they're like this
@Polyphase @DaireConstantineOReilly Wow, my the Girl Who Waited is my favourite episode of all time, and the God Complex is pretty high up there. To each their own bizarre view on the universe I suppose.
@Polyphase @no_tweeter @DaireConstantineOReilly Dull does tend to be a common complaint aimed at intelligent poignant writing - I imagine the writers take it as a badge of honor.
@Polyphase @no_tweeter@DaireConstantineOReilly That's... harsh.
@no_tweeter @Polyphase@DaireConstantineOReillyYes your correct, Those are 2 of the worst episodes of Moffats reign. I gave them both 1/10 for being so dull :)
