Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) is the best Doctor Who companion of all time.

That’s according to over 3,300 Radio Times readers who voted her over other favourite Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen).

Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) was in third and metal mutt K9 placed fourth. Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) came in fifth.
