7th doctor and aceIf there’s one thing we can probably no longer trust after David Tennant’s fake out, it’s denials from past cast regarding their involvement in the 50th.

Seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy has for the second time this week claimed that no “20th century Doctors” have been asked back.

He told Digital Spy: “The 20th century Doctors haven’t heard anything. I don’t know about the 21st century Doctors, but we from our century have not been asked to do it. We old Who-ers have not been asked to go along.”

“All of us want to do it, just for the fans – because that’s what they want. But we’ve heard nothing – Tom Baker’s heard nothing, Colin Baker, Peter Davison, Paul McGann… none of us have heard anything.”

He added: “I believe the BBC are doing a very big London convention coming up. All being well, I’ll be there.”

Do we still believe him?
