OR - You do a McGann ep. that's all his, a flashback, part 1 of a 2 parter, and in part 2 the current doctor picks up / finishes the story.  There are so many possibilities.

The 11th doctor has to go with a flourish that's the way he was and he hated the daleks

Yes, please.  Also, yes please.  They need to produce something to fill these long gaps between seasons, might as well do a little 8th Doctor web or mini series, a la Children of Earth.

We'd all be super enthusiastic if he ever got an offer to come back

Make the 8th doctor a reoccurring character, no really, add a plot device that some how ties the 12th and 8th's story together and allows them to interact with each other without doing to much damage.

I would LOVE to see McGann back in the TARDIS, it is well overdue.  But dear, dear producers of this marvellous show, all I ask is please don't force the issue just because the press and some die hard fans 'demand' it. And please don't allow any possible comeback put at risk Paul's legacy or damage to Peter's reign - it wouldn't be fair on them or anyone else.

But I have faith in the Who team, after 50 years, they know what they're doing. Can't wait to see how this develops :)

Looking at the background, would we have had the same TARDIS interior for Night of the Doctor as we did for the TV Movie? I know it's just a background image for the cover, but I am curious if he kept that interior until the War Doctor or his TARDIS was like Matt's, two in one incarnation

It feels so weird knowing I have now met the legend that is Paul McGann. I wouldn't mind getting this issue to read up on Paul's interview. I would really love him to make a return to screen because quite frankly after his appearance in 'The Night of the Doctor' he has made a place in the eye of the fans again in a big way, so it would be nice to use that energy to give Paul his long-earned screen time whilst the time is right. Chances are it won't happen but its a possibility I wait for just in case.

Frankly I'm more excited about Benton saving Pertwee's kneecap - but maybe that's just me.

I think these covers just get better and better.

No wonder this magazine has been going for so long

@Deus_Ex_Machina Well William Hartnell's Doctor quietly faded into his next incarnation - by contrast Matt Smith's destroyed a whole Dalek fleet.

This article will be interesting.

I don't want two regular TV Doctors, but a web series could work actually.

@Americanwhovian According to Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart, he left UNIT and became a second hand car salesman...

@Regenerated Catterson  Based on the TARDIS exterior in The Night of the Doctor, my guess is the War Doctor's interior was what the Eighth Doctor had at the end of his life.  In New Who, the exterior has always changed when the interior does.

@Regenerated Catterson Pesonaly I belive that a certian level of mantinace is required on the tardis with the doctor fighting the war it fell to peices becoming overgrown with coral, the bookshelves and the console crumbled leavin the tardis to improvise.

@TheSoundofDrums I have met Paul on multiple occasions at conventions, and he really is a down to earth, warm person, and just a real class act. He has come a long way since his convention phobia, just witness how many he has done now, and has even more planned for this year. He loves Doctor Who and its fans, and is quite approachable and willing to engage in conversation. Having an encore for the Eighth Doctor, done appropriately, would be quite wonderful.

I believe you can, but the magazines often don't arrive in US shops until after the deadlines.

So you could say that they built this 12th Doctor? They built this 12th Doctor on rock 'n' roll? Yes, built this 12th Doctor. Moffat built this 12ty Doctor on ROCK 'N' ROLLLLLLLL!

I know what they mean, I just don't understand the connection.

@RandomComments There is one seller at www.whona.com, who actually imports DWM issues and gets them well ahead of the import schedule in the US. I don't know how that might impact contest or giveaway eligibility Stateside.
