A little odd that the clip at the start is missing the voice effect for the Dalek..

Thank you DWTV for posting this.

I really don't think the Narrator is that bad - Seems lie some people will find anything to complain about these days!

The narrator's forced enthusiasm is quite grating. He sounds like a reluctant kid's show host who hates children, like a more smooth-sounding Krusty the Klown.

I'm enjoying Extra, but it just feels so short! I'm grateful we've got something, but I would leave to see the more intricate details into how this episode was made. Ah well, Series 8 is going great so far so I won't complain.

I absolutely love Nick Briggs's reference to Dalek Empire II in his quote "Something weird might happen, there might be an alternate dimension" when asked about good daleks, when he wrote Dalek Empire II which was basically: Daleks from an alternate dimension that act good and against our daleks, but subjugate in different ways

I enjoyed it, and didn't really mind the narrator. It was good to have something light after the kind of dark episode. Anyone else notice the bag of Jelly Babies?

"And perhaps the most petrifying - a Human-Dalek Hybrid" - LOL. Seriously, I couldn't stop laughing.

We don't need a one minute Dalek history lesson - wish they'd just show us more behind the scenes stuff.

The Narrator sounds like he'd be better off in some cheesy holiday camp.

Despite this still another interesting doctor who extra.

Why does everyone forget that the Daleks could fly in 1988? He says that they could fly from 2005 onwards!

It's like they set out to find the most annoying-sounding narrator imaginable and then made him even worse!

The narrator sounds like a 5 year old on a sugar rush!

The narrator needs to be exterminated

Connor, just let us complain if we want to. Many of us don't like the sound of the man's voice, particularly as he sounds like the people who always interrupt end credits of tv-shows by yammering on insipidly, like a second-rate radio host. You like him? Fine. But don't use such a high-and-mighty tone to belittle the opinions of people who don't like something. That is just as much a reason for the fandom not getting along as the negativity you yourself are combating.

@MaraBackman Its better than Richard Bacon. I dislike that they hint at Spoliers, but the thing is we have already seen the epsiode, so what's the point?

@MaraBackman You think that was a rude, belittling comment? I thought it was witty and perfectly respectful. You talk about how the 'problem' of the fandom not getting along comes from people belittling others, but those comments can only exist if someone else complains. If nobody ever complained then there would be no "rude" responses - by complaining you are contributing to the problem, and yet you have a go at others for doing the same. Everyone is entitled to express their opinion, it's just the way free speech works.
