Issue #444 of Doctor Who Magazine confirms another couple of writers for Series 7.

First up is Toby Whithouse. Whithouse has written three episodes since the show returned:  School Reunion back in 2006, The Vampires of Venice in 2010 and last year’s The God Complex. His latest episode is described as a “big blockbuster of a genre piece”.

Whithouse told SFX that his story is currently planned as third episode and suggested it would be “one of the final ones” to feature Amy and Rory.

The other writer is Chris Chibnall, another returnee. He previously penned 42 in 2007 and The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood two-parter from 2010. Apparently his new episode contains the biggest set Doctor Who has ever had.

The mag also states that filming on the new series begins Monday 20th February, as previously reported.
