Earlier this month the BFI held a special screening of the first ever Doctor Who story, An Unearthly Child.

A panel discussion followed with Doctor Who alumni, including director Waris Hussein, script editor Donald Tosh, actors William Russell, Carole Ann Ford and Jeremy Young, and writer Mark Gatiss. They reflect on their experiences of working on the programme and its enduring popularity. Gatiss also chats a little about his 50th anniversary docudrama An Adventure in Space & Time.
